Jason K. Landry

Funeral Director

Jason Landry has been a part of the William W. Tripp Funeral Home since the advent of his career in funeral service in February of 2000. He attended Funeral Institute of the Northeast (FINE Mortuary College) and graduated in 2007 with his degree in Mortuary Science. Since then, he has become an integral part of the funeral home and the families that the William W. Tripp & Cheetham Funeral Homes serve.

In his free time, Jason enjoys caring for his antique home, circa 1740 in the neighboring community of Rehoboth, Massachusetts. He also serves his community as the secretary of the Town of Rehoboth Historical Commission and as a member of the Town of Rehoboth Cemetery Commission. Jason enjoys working on anything mechanical, a trait he inherited from his late father, restoring antique stationary engines, farm tractors (both John Deere and Farmall) and antique automobiles, specifically Model A Fords.

Jason has also garnered the respect and esteem of his colleagues in the funeral profession throughout the State of Rhode Island and the neighboring communities of Southeastern Massachusetts. In the early days of his career, Jason not only worked at the William W. Tripp Funeral Home, but he honed his skills as a talented embalmer, having embalmed for many of the area’s funeral homes for over eleven years. Jason is an active member of both the Rhode Island Funeral Directors Association and the National Funeral Directors Association. He served for nearly seven years on the RIFDA Board of Governors, and currently serves on several committees of the association, including the Public Relations Committee.
