Pawtucket – Joseph F.

Corsi, 84, passed away tragically on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at his home.

He was the beloved husband of the late Joyce L. (Dufresne) Corsi who passed in 2010.

A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Patrick and Grace (Woodmanci) Corsi.

Joe was a graduate of Pawtucket West High School and then served in the United States Army.

He then went on to a career as a machinist and mechanic and was still actively working at Nucor Harris Rebar Northeast, LLC, in Pawtucket.

In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, attending races at Seekonk Speedway, cooking, and sharing his knowledge of cooking with his family and friends.

Joe also loved spending time with his friends at Dunkin, at the corner of Mineral Spring and Smithfield Ave., in Pawtucket.

Above all else, Joe was devoted to his family and loved spending time with his son and his grandchildren.

He will be lovingly remembered by all whose lives he has touched over the past eighty-four years.

Joe leaves his son, with whom he made his home, Joseph A.

Dufresne of Pawtucket; three grandchildren, Nathaniel Dufresne, Andrew Durand, and Haley Corsi; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Helen “Sissy” Woodcock of Central Falls; a brother, Mort Corsi of West Warwick, and many nieces and nephews.

He was the father of the late Michael Dufresne, and Scott Corsi, and the brother of the late Patricia Corsi and June Brillon.

Relatives and friends are welcome to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at 10 a.m. in St.

Cecilia Church of St.

John Paul II Parish, 755 Central Ave., Pawtucket, followed by interment with his late wife and sons at Mount Saint Mary Cemetery.

VISITATION will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at WILLIAM W.
