William R. Whitmarsh

Pawtucket – William R. Whitmarsh, 77, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2012. A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, he was a son of the late William G. and Selma “Sal” C. (Maiwald) Whitmarsh. Bill served in the RI Army National Guard. He was a cloth printer at Duro Printers, Fall River until retiring and was previously employed at Cranston Print Works. Bill was a drummer in his own three piece band many years ago. He leaves his sister, Edith V. Courchene of Port Richey, Florida; his brother, Earl F. Whitmarsh of Hudson, Florida and four nephews. Services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in St. Matthew-Trinity Lutheran Church, 690 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. Interment will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery. VISITATION Wednesday 5 to 7 p.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.
