Pawtucket – William H. Sullivan, 83, of Columbus Ave., Pawtucket, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 9, 2013. Born in Dorchester, MA, he was the son of the late William and Louise (Treanor) Sullivan. He moved to Pawtucket in 1950 when he married his beloved late wife, Geraldine (Ward) Sullivan with whom he shared 52 years of marriage. Bill was a devoted member of St. Teresa Parish and was active in the seniors group helping to coordinate their many trips. He was also a member of the choir. Bill worked at Fleet Bank for 25 years until his retirement. In his retirement years, he spent many hours volunteering with Hospice where his kindness and compassion helped many patients find peace in their final days. His quick wit and wonderful sense of humor endeared him to all who knew him and once you met “Bill” you didn’t forget him.
