Pawtucket – William G.
Risho, 86, formerly of Armistice Blvd., passed away peacefully on Monday, June 6, 2016.
He was the beloved husband of Shirley A. (LaCroix) Risho for fifty-seven years.
Born in Pawtucket, a son of the late Samuel and Mary (Shabo) Risho, he resided in Seekonk for many years until returning to Pawtucket in 1997.
Bill was a Korean War U.S.
He was employed by J & K Electric, Johnston for ten years until retiring in 1993, and was previously a self-employed Retail Window Trimmer for many years.
Bill was an avid Military Historian; Aviation Enthusiast and artist who enjoyed painting and drawing.
But most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.
Besides his wife, he leaves two daughters, Alyssa M.
Picano and her husband, Robert Furney of New Hampshire and Juli A.
Grant and her husband, Terry of Rehoboth; a son, William S.
Risho and his wife, Jennifer of Warwick; four siblings, Donald Risho of New Mexico, Sally Shaw of Connecticut, Patricia Harwood of Maine and Raymond Risho of Montana; seven grandchildren, Zane Doucette, Brendan Grant, Erika DeBalsi, David Picano, Vanessa Lee, Logan Risho and Ava Risho; six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
His funeral with Military Honors will be held Friday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W.
TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by Services at 10 a.m. in St.
Ephraims Church, 215 Washington St., Central Falls.
Interment will follow at Mt.
Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket.
VISITATION will be Thursday 4 to 7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to the Alzheimer’s Association, 245 Waterman St., Suite 306, Providence, RI 02906 would be appreciated.
