Pawtucket – William Nobrega, 87, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2015.
He was the beloved husband of Constance J. (Campeau) Nobrega.
Born in Central Falls, a son of the late William and Isabel (Jardin) Nobrega, he resided in Pawtucket for the past fifty-nine years.
Bill served in the United States Navy for twenty years and was a Korean War veteran.
He had also been employed by Amtrak for twenty years until retiring in 1993.
Bill was a member of the Fleet Reserve; Knights of Columbus Delaney Council; Past-president of St.
Teresa’s Men’s Club and a former coach for the Darlington American Little League.
Besides his wife, he leaves three sons and their wives, William A. and Kimberly Nobrega, Keith W. and Mary Nobrega and Bruce J. and Connie Nobrega and two granddaughters, Amanda and Alyson Nobrega.
He was the brother of the late Lucien Nobrega.
His funeral with Military Honors will be held Thursday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W.
TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St.
Teresa Church, 358 Newport Ave.
Interment will follow at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
VISITATION Wednesday 4 to 7 p.m.
