William Kostka

July 23, 1944 — May 14, 2025

Pawtucket – William Kostka, 80, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 14, 2025.

He was the beloved husband of the late Maureen F. (Clegg) Kostka, who passed away in 2003.

Born in Fall River, Massachusetts, he was a son of the late Stanley, Sr. and Lillian “Irene” (Frechette) Kostka.

William was a United States Army veteran of the Vietnam War and went on to career as a postal worker for many years for the United States Postal Service.

He enjoyed working on anything mechanical and he had a passion for classic and antique cars.

William also enjoyed playing cards and game nights with family and friends.

He will be lovingly remembered by all whose lives he has touched over the past eighty years.

William leaves three children, Jared W.

Kostka and his wife, Jenny, of Rehoboth, Kari-Ann J.

Cute and her husband, Christopher, of Pawtucket, and Kourtney J.

Allen and her husband, Alexander, of Pawtucket; six grandchildren, Sam, Reese and Jane Kostka, Agnes Cute, Heidi and Elliot Wunschel; two siblings, Linda Harrington and her husband, Timothy, in Maine, Stephen Kostka and his wife, Diane, in Rhode Island, and many nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late Stanley Kostka, Jr.

William’s services and interment with Military Honors at Mount Saint Mary Cemetery will be private.

Calling hours and flowers are respectfully omitted.
