William "Bill" David Nelson

Seekonk – William “Bill” David Nelson, 70, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 17, 2020.

Born in Providence, RI and raised in Seekonk, he was a son of the late George William Nelson and Lily (Etchells) Nelson.

As a child, Bill was a member of the Boy Scouts of America.

He was a graduate of Seekonk High School and earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Rhode Island.

After graduating from URI, Bill resided in Hawaii for a number of years before returning to Seekonk.

He was a very religious man.

Bill enjoyed coin collecting, walking, surfing the web and emailing his friends.

He leaves a sister-in-law, Carol E.

Nelson of Rehoboth; two nieces, Lori A.

Leydon and her husband, John, of Seekonk and Kristy L.

Banner of Warwick; several grandnieces, grandnephews and a host of relatives and friends.

He was the brother of the late Robert G.

Services will be private.

Interment will be at Seekonk Cemetery.

Arrangements are entrusted to WILLIAM W.
