Somerset, MA – William F.
Cook, Jr., 66, formerly of Pawtucket, passed away at his home on Tuesday, February 16, 2021.
Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late William F.
Cook, Sr., the late Marguerite “Margie” (Lynch) Cook-Powell and stepson of the late Robert Powell.
Bill was a graduate of William E.
Tolman High School, Pawtucket, Class of 1973.
Bill loved the newspaper business and had a long career with the Pawtucket Times and the Free Press as circulation director.
He was a life member of the Elks, had many dear friends and a wonderful sense of humor.
Bill had a passion for music, his Martin Guitars, history, politics, the ocean and witty conversation.
But above all, he enjoyed spending time with his grandsons and grand-dogs.
Bill will be lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
He leaves a daughter, Jodie L.
Davey and her husband, Mark, of Harrisville, RI; two stepdaughters, Tina M.
Bedard and her husband, Rich, and Gia M.
Parmentier, all of Burrillville, RI; two grandsons, Bryce and Chase Davey; two sisters, Patricia A.
Davis of Moosup, CT and Kathleen A.
Donndelinger and her husband, Paul, of North Attleboro, MA and two nephews, Christopher and Kevin Wunschel.
Relatives and friends are welcome to attend VISITATION on Thursday, March 4th from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at WILLIAM W.
TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.
Interment in the family plot at Mount St.
Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket, will be private.
