William A. Bleasdale

Attleboro – William A. Bleasdale, 77, formerly of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully in his home on Friday, September 29, 2023, with his daughters by his side. Born in Attleboro, MA, he was the son of the late Aloysius and Rosemary (Carroll) Bleasdale. William graduated in 1964 from Attleboro High School and continued his education at Rhode Island College where he earned a BA in Education in 1968. He furthered his studies at Rhode Island College and earned a Master of Education degree in 1972. William worked for the Pawtucket School Department throughout his thirty-year career, which began in 1968 at the Elizabeth Baldwin School, and later at the Fallon School. He retired from Goff Jr. High School in June of 1999. After his retirement, Mr. Bleasdale filled in as a substitute teacher for the Pawtucket School District. During this time, Bill also served in the Rhode Island Army National Guard for six years, from which he was honorably discharged. He is survived by two daughters, Beth McGrath and her husband,...
