Wayne S. Newberry

East Providence – Wayne S. Newberry, 66, of Rumford, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 27, 2014. He was the beloved husband of Stephanie J. (Moy) Newberry for 22 years. Born in Schenectady, New York, he was a son of Sterling Price Newberry and the late Mary Louise (Watson) Newberry. Wayne was a master ballet dancer and instructor for many years. He dedicated his life to the art of Classical Ballet and all of its aspects. Besides his loving wife, Wayne leaves his dear family friend, Brett Leigh of Los Angeles, California and three siblings, Emily Newberry, Dawson Newberry and Julia Newberry. The family will receive relatives and friends at the family home in Rumford, Saturday, July 12, 2014 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Contributions in Wayne’s memory to Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island Cancer Center, 111 Brewster St., Pawtucket, RI 02860 will be deeply appreciated.
