Wayne F. Johnson

PAWTUCKET – Wayne F. Johnson, 57, passed away Monday, March 5, 2012. He was the husband of Donna M. (Gill) Johnson. A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, he was a son of Loretta G. (Gaouette) Johnson of Pawtucket and the late Howard D. Johnson. Wayne was a Vietnam Era U.S. Marine Corps veteran. He was employed as a supervisor in the Housekeeping Department at the VA Medical Center, Providence, for over ten years until retiring last year. Besides his wife and mother, he leaves a son, Jeremy F. Johnson of Providence; three daughters, Vanessa M., Sharon M. and Jessica M. Johnson all of Pawtucket; four grandchildren, Aryanna and Blake Mello and Cassandra and Zachary Dulude; two sisters, Wanda Gill in Florida and Kim Johnson of North Kingstown. He was the brother of the late Kevin Johnson. Services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.
