Wayne D. Griffiths

Griffiths, 62, of Carter Ave., passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 8, 2012.

He was the beloved husband of Joy A. (Goodman) Griffiths.

Born in Providence, a son of Theresa M. (LaPrade) Griffiths of Cranston and the late William F.

Griffiths, he resided in Pawtucket since 1979.

Wayne was a Vietnam Era U.S.

He was employed by the Pawtucket Housing Authority for the past nine years, and was previously employed for twenty-nine years by Sandvik Madison Industries, Pawtucket.

Wayne was the secretary of the Jacques Cartier Social Club, Pawtucket.

Besides his wife and mother, he leaves two daughters, Renee Shull of Columbus, MS and Heather Griffiths of Pawtucket; two grandchildren, Zachary Shull of Columbus, MS and Amber Shull of Pawtucket; four brothers, Gary, Alan, Keith and Steven Griffiths; a sister, Lori Griffiths and many nieces and nephews.

Services with Military Honors will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.

VISITATION will be Friday 4 to 8 p.m.
