Wayne M. Foss

Foss, 64 passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2021.

He was the beloved husband of Elaine (Gilbride) Foss for forty-three loving years.

Born in Attleboro, he was a son of Marjorie (Foss) Allard of Attleboro and the late Edward Rockett.

Wayne was a very talented Master Carpenter and worked for many years in residential carpentry.

In his free time, Wayne enjoyed coaching Pineview & Darlington American LL.

He played softball and was a member of both D&B Auto Body and Surkont’s softball teams.

He was a loyal fan of the Red Sox and the New England Patriots, an avid fisherman, loved to travel, and enjoyed tending to his garden.

Above all, Wayne was a devoted and loving husband, dad, grandfather, brother, uncle, and loyal friend, who enjoyed being with his family, especially his six grandchildren, wearing a sombrero and dancing the YMCA at weddings and family get-togethers.

Wayne will be remembered for his great sense of humor, long hugs, smile, and his appreciation for life’s simple pleasures.

Besides his beloved wife, Wayne leaves three children, Jason W.

Foss and his wife, Lisa, of Seekonk, Jenifer R.

Foss and her fiancé, Matthew Boland, of Pawtucket, and Nicholas M.

Foss and his wife, Alison, of Pawtucket; six grandchildren, Brennan, Owen, Skylar, Jagger, Savannah and Taegan; three siblings, Deborah Fournier of Attleboro, Darlene Sisson, and her husband, Bill, of Attleboro, Michael Allard and his wife, Mandy, of Fayetteville, NC; a brother-in-law, Eddie Furtado of Rehoboth and many nieces, nephews, and in-laws of the Gilbride and Garland families.

He was the brother of the late Patricia Furtado and Timothy Allard.

Relatives and friends are welcome to attend Services on Thursday at 11 a.m. at WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.

Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.

VISITATION will be Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Office of Development, 330 Brookline Ave., Boston, MA 02215 would be appreciated.
