Walter Bibby, Jr.

Pawtucket – Walter Bibby, Jr., 68, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, February 9, 2020. He was the husband of Gloria (Young) Bibby. A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Walter Bibby, Sr. and Martha F. (DeRoche) Bibby-Boucher. Besides his wife, Walter leaves four children, Nayla Menard (Joseph Nappi) of Westwood, MA, Eric Bibby (Amy Carpentier) of Pawtucket, Tasha Bibby of Pawtucket and Kyle Bibby (Jessica) of Lincoln and five grandchildren. He also leaves behind his siblings, Sandy Mellen (Joseph), Michael Bibby (Darlene), Louis Bibby, Melanie Perry (John), Beverly Perry (David), Mark Bibby (Paula), Jeff Bibby (Yvette) and Lynn Dolan (Kevin) as well as many nieces and nephews. Walter was a United States Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Walter served as an active member of the American Legion, State Commander of the Amvets and as Judge Advocate and Building Maintenance Manager at Amvets Post 33.
