Virginia Anforth

Pawtucket – Virginia “Ginny” (Scales) Anforth, 98, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 17, 2021. She was the beloved wife of the late Eric Anforth. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Hartford A. and Ethel (Smith) Scales, she resided in North Kingstown, Warwick and Pawtucket before moving to Rumford in 2015. Ginny was a member of the Church of the Epiphany, Rumford and a member of the Booster Club at the former St. Martin’s Episcopal Church, Pawtucket. She leaves two children and their spouses, Sharon A. Burrill and her husband, John, of Pawtucket and Craig B. Anforth and his wife, Robin, of Pennsylvania; a brother, Donald Scales of Charlestown; nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Bruce W. Anforth and the sister of the late Doris Hobson. VISITATION will begin on Thursday at 10 a.m. followed by Services at 11 a.m. at WILLIAM W.
