Vioulit Karwashan

Cranston – Vioulit Yossef Karwashan, 86, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, January 26, 2024. She was the beloved wife of the late Georgeos Shahoud. Born in Damascus, Syria, she was a daughter of the late Yossef Karwashan and Mary Farah. Vioulit had resided in Middletown before moving to Cranston in 2015. She leaves two sons, Simon Shahoud and Edmon Shahoud; two daughters, Ida Shahoud and Reem Shahoud; eleven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Rimon Shahoud. Visitation will be held at St. Mary Antiochian Orthodox Church, 249 High St., Pawtucket on Monday, January 29, 2024 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be held at St. Mary Antiochian Orthodox Church on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery, Armistice Blvd., Pawtucket.
