Violette Riad Habib

Providence – Violette Riad Habib, 92, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 8, 2021. She was the beloved wife of the late Atallah Amirhom. Born in Egypt, she was a daughter of the late Riad Habib and Olga Alexander. Violette immigrated to the United States in 1995 and settled in East Providence. She had resided in Central Falls before moving to Providence thirteen years ago. Violette leaves a daughter, Vivian Fam of Swansea, Massachusetts; two sons, Emad Amirhom and Essam Amirhom both of Providence; a brother, Nagi Habib, MD of Egypt; a sister, Yvette Habib of Egypt; three grandchildren, Bernadette, Paulette and Patrick and four great-grandchildren. Her funeral will be held Monday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by Services at 10 a.m. in St. Mary Antiochian Orthodox Church, 249 High St., Pawtucket.
