Violet "Memee" M. Cardin

The Villages, Florida – Violet “Memee” M. (Richard) Cardin, 96, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2015. She was the beloved wife of the late Arthur C. Cardin. Born in New Bedford, a daughter of the late John B. and Rosa (Rondeau) Richard, she was a lifelong resident of Pawtucket until moving to The Villages, Florida in 2008. She leaves four children, Janice M. Noelte and her husband, David of The Villages, FL, Robert L. Cardin and his wife, Kathy of San Antonio, TX, Steven C. Cardin and his wife, Deborah of Pawtucket and Connie A. Sarrasin and her husband, Stanley Swander of The Villages, FL; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Her funeral will be held Friday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Cecilia Church, 755 Central Ave. Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.
