Seekonk – Viola M. (Letourneau) Gianetti, 87, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 9, 2012. She was the beloved wife of the late Bruno J. Gianetti. Born in New Bedford, a daughter of the late Hector and Regina (Pontbriand) Letourneau, she resided in Pawtucket for fifty-one years before moving to Seekonk in 1997. Viola was a winder at the former Seekonk Lace Company, Pawtucket for forty-five years until retiring. She received many awards for her philatelic activities and was a member of the Rhode Island Philatelic Society; Slater Stamp Club, Pawtucket; White Mountains Stamp Club, Conway, NH and the ACE First Day Cover Society. Viola leaves a son, George R. Gianetti of Orlando, Florida; a daughter, Regina M. Greer and her husband, Bill of Rehoboth; a sister, Aurore Bessette of Swansea, MA; three grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A private Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Wednesday in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Taunton Ave., Seekonk. Interment followed at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East...
