Narragansett – Vincent T. Morris, Jr., 85, formerly of Pawtucket, passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2026. He was the loving husband of Elaine R. (Caty) Morris for sixty-three years. Born in Central Falls, he was the son of the late Vincent T. Morris, Sr. and Aurora (Dubuque) Morris.
Vincent graduated from Pawtucket East High School and honorably served in the United States Army. He went on to work as a Meat Cutter for over sixty years, operating his own butcher shop for twenty-five years before working for various companies. Vincent coached the Darlington American Little League and enjoyed bowling with his wife Elaine. He also loved dog racing and horse racing, especially at the Narragansett Racetrack, Lincoln Downs, and the Kentucky Derby. Above all else, Vincent was a devoted family man who enjoyed spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Alongside his wife, he leaves behind his beloved children: Vincent T. Morris III (Melissa) of Seekonk; Robert G. Morris of Pawtucket; William J. Morris (Lucia) of Warwick; and Keith P. Morris (Sonia) of West Warwick; ten grandchildren, Kayla Rappaport, Mackenzie Morris, Camryn Morris, Justin Morris, Zackary Morris, Kaitlynn Morris, William Morris II, Ryan Morris, Laura Morris, and Melody Sousa; and five great-grandchildren, Bryson, Liam, Luke, Katey, and Maeve.
He was predeceased by his late sister, Barbara Otis.
VISITATION will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 11:00AM-3:00PM at the WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave, Pawtucket.
