Pawtucket – Vincent H. Cavanaugh, 93, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 26, 2012. He was the beloved husband of the late Medora G. (Charland) Cavanaugh. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late James L. and Ellen J. (Kenney) Cavanaugh. He was a World War II, US Army veteran. Vincent worked as the superintendant of the Lebanon Knitting Mill, Pawtucket; he later worked at Carol Cable, Lincoln for 10 years, until his retirement. Vincent leaves four children, Paul Cavanaugh of Pawtucket, Ruth M. Crowley and her husband James of Richmond, RI, Helen M. Blount and her husband Michael in Alabama and Louise B. Cavanaugh of Pawtucket; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. His funeral will be Tuesday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Teresa Church, 358 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.
