Vincent E. Bouthillier

East Providence – Vincent E. Bouthillier, 86, passed away peacefully and went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family.  He was the beloved husband of Rita F. (Tessier) Bouthillier for 63 years. Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Joseph & Marie (Chartier) Bouthillier. A graduate of Sacred Heart Academy, Vincent served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was a supervisor at Verizon, formerly New England Telephone Company, until retiring in 1990. Vincent was a kind and generous husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family.  He was always first to extend care, compassion and a helping hand. He was patient, accepting and abounding in hope until the very end of his life.
