Victor "Bertinho" A. Cabral

East Providence – Victor “Bertinho” A.

Cabral, 68, passed away peacefully with family by his side on Tuesday, July 6, 2021.

He was the beloved husband of Lucia F. (Galvao) Cabral for forty-four years.

Born in Ponte Delgada, Sao Miguel, Azores, he was a son of the late Armando and Maria Joana (Correia) Cabral.

Victor and his family moved to the United States in 1976 and settled in East Providence.

He was a communicant of Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Fox Point, for many years.

Victor was a self-employed jewelry model maker.

He was a talented musician and played in two local bands, namely, JBL and Gerasons.

Victor loved to watch soccer matches and was an avid fan of S.L.

He also loved to travel and take camping trips to Cape Cod and to the beautiful State of Maine with his family.

Victor will be lovingly remembered by all whose lives he has touched over the past sixty-eight years.

Besides his loving wife, he leaves a son, Andre A.

Cabral and his wife, Corin, of Norton, MA; a daughter, Patricia G.

Gomes and her husband, Richard, of Pawtucket; four grandchildren, Isla, Keegan, Ryan and Alivia; three sisters, Dina Dias and her husband, John, of Smithfield, Manuela Silva and her husband, Frank, of Warwick and Helen Mitchell of Burrillville, and many nieces and nephews.

Victor was the brother of the late Tony Cabral and brother-in-law of the late Paul Mitchell.

Relatives and friends are welcome to attend VISITATION on Friday morning from 8:30 to 10:15 a.m. at WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 21 Traverse St., Providence.

Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to the Alzheimer’s Association, 245 Waterman St., Suite, 306, Providence, RI 02906 would be appreciated.
