Victor "Bertinho" A. Cabral

East Providence – Victor “Bertinho” A. Cabral, 68, passed away peacefully with family by his side on Tuesday, July 6, 2021. He was the beloved husband of Lucia F. (Galvao) Cabral for forty-four years. Born in Ponte Delgada, Sao Miguel, Azores, he was a son of the late Armando and Maria Joana (Correia) Cabral. Victor and his family moved to the United States in 1976 and settled in East Providence. He was a communicant of Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Fox Point, for many years. Victor was a self-employed jewelry model maker. He was a talented musician and played in two local bands, namely, JBL and Gerasons. Victor loved to watch soccer matches and was an avid fan of S.L. Benfica. He also loved to travel and take camping trips to Cape Cod and to the beautiful State of Maine with his family. Victor will be lovingly remembered by all whose lives he has touched over the past sixty-eight years. Besides his loving wife, he leaves a son, Andre A.
