Valerie E. Martin

East Providence - Martin, Valerie (Ellis), 77, of Boynton Beach, FL, formerly of East Providence, passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2014. Born in Walpole, MA, a daughter of the late Olga (Hagblom) MacDonald and Frank E. Ellis. Mother of Paul Johnson (Joanne), the late Eric Johnson (Linda), Kristen Broderick (George), Jason Cashman (Lori) and Jonathan Cashman (Britney). Grandmother of Kim (Mike), Hilary, Michaela, Paige and Kerri. She was predeceased by her husband James Martin. Valerie was a graduate of Walpole HS, Framingham State and received her Masters from RIC. She taught Elementary School in East Providence and was an Account Executive for many years with Executone and Atrion. She enjoyed her days on the golf course and was a member of Hidden Hollow. She was loved and adored by her family. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 24th at the WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, RI at 4 pm.
