Usalia Rodrigues

Pawtucket – Usalia Maria (Pontes) Rodrigues, 94, passed away peacefully at her home with family by her side on Monday, February 3, 2025, just three days shy of her ninety-fifth birthday. She was the beloved wife of the late Deodato C. Rodrigues who passed away in 2018. Born in Ponta Delgada, (Sao Pedro) Azores, Portugal, she was a daughter of the late Antonio and Emilia (Farias) Pontes. Usalia worked for many years in manufacturing, but her passion and favorite career was that as a seamstress. She was a devout Catholic and a longtime parishioner at St. Teresa Church in Pawtucket., Usalia was also a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed nothing more than being with her family. She will be lovingly remembered by all whose lives she has touched over the past ninety-four years.
