Prestly, Sr., 60, of Warwick and formerly of Pawtucket, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 1, 2017.
Born in Attleboro, a son of Bernadette G. (Cole) Prestly of Pawtucket and the late Francis C.
Prestly, Sr., he resided in Pawtucket before moving to Warwick ten years ago.
Tom was a drywall finisher for Bob Savastano Custom Drywall, East Providence for many years until retiring.
He was a member of the Filibuster Club, Cumberland.
Tom enjoyed fishing and but most of all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Besides his mother, he leaves a daughter, Desarie A.
Prestly and her companion, Wade Castano, of Warwick; a son, Thomas J.
Prestly, Jr. and his fiancée, Jennifer, of Pawtucket; three siblings, Lillian Parrillo of Seekonk, Francis C.
Prestly, Jr. and his wife, Betty, of Pawtucket and Deborah A.
Tobin and her husband, Robert, of North Providence; four grandchildren, Elijah Prestly, Janaiya Prestly, Jayden Prestly and Amiayha Castano; his former wife, Lisa A. (LaRose) Lafreniere of West Greenwich and his best friends, his dogs, Max and Lela.
He was the brother of the late Linda M.
His funeral will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W.
TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St.
Teresa Church, 358 Newport Ave.
Interment will follow at Mt.
Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket.
VISITATION will be Tuesday 4 to 7 p.m.
