Pawtucket - Thomas F.
O'Hara Jr., 93, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 11, 2018.
He was the beloved husband of the late Stacia M. (Wilczek) O'Hara.
Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Thomas F., Sr. and Lavinia (Caine) O'Hara.
O'Hara served as an amphibian gunner at Omaha Beach.
He was a member of the Kelley-Gazzerro VFW Post 2812.
His name is on the wall of The National World War II Museum.
Thomas worked as an electrician for the NY, NH and Hartford Railroad for forty-three years.
He was an active member of NAVRE and he enjoyed gardening and working in the yard.
He is survived by three children, David T.
O'Hara of North Providence, Mary Ann O'Hara of Pawtucket, and Bruce O'Hara, and his wife Randee of Richmond; two sisters, Margaret Godlewski of Barrington and Maureen Buzzerio of California; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister-in- law Alice O'Hara of Providence and his cousin John O'Hara of Narragansett, a WWII Veteran, as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Wilfred and Joseph O'Hara, and William who died in infancy.
His funeral will be held on Friday at 9:00 a.m. from WILLIAM W.
TRIPP funeral home 1008 Newport Avenue., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 a.m in the church of St.
Leo the Great, 699 Central Ave., Pawtucket.
Interment will follow in Mount St.
VISITATION will be held on Thursday 4-7 p.m.
