Rumford – Thomas F. Mynarski, 92, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, January 21, 2026. He was the beloved husband of the late Jacqueline R. (Carrara) Mynarski. Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late John and Sophie (Szafir) Mynarski.
Thomas served in the United States Army and went on to a thirty-year career as an engineer for the Rhode Island Department of Transportation from 1960 to 1990.
He enjoyed visiting flea markets and yard sales, building and remodeling things in and around his home, traveling with his late wife, having traversed the United States three times, sailing and visiting his home in St. Augustine, Florida.
Thomas will be lovingly remembered by all whose lives he has touched over the past ninety-two years.
He leaves two children, John J. Mynarski and Patricia A. Mynarski both of Rumford, and his beloved feline companion, “Laura”. John was the brother of the late Viola, Walter, John and Florence Mynarski.
Relatives and friends are welcome to attend VISITATION beginning on Wednesday, January 28th at 11:30 a.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by SERVICES at 12:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment at Notre Dame Cemetery will follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
