Thomas J. Harvey

Pawtucket - Thomas J. Harvey, 78, passed away peacefully at his home with his loving family by his side on Thursday, April 23, 2026. He was the beloved husband of Marilyn M. (Mitchell) Harvey for fifty-five loving years. Together they would have celebrated fifty-six years this coming June. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Thomas and Elizabeth (Flood) Harvey.

Thomas graduated with his bachelor's degree from Johnson & Wales University and went on to a career in research and development in the toy industry. Over the years he received three patents on products he developed for the toy manufacturers. In his free-time, Thomas loved traveling and a favorite destination for him and his wife, was Alaska. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and will be lovingly remembered by all whose lives he has touched over the past seventy-eight years.

Besides his beloved wife, Thomas leaves two sons, Timothy J. Harvey and Ryan M. Harvey, both of Providence; three brothers, Edward Harvey and his wife, Jackie, and Fred Harvey and his wife, Marissa, all of Mystic, CT, and Joseph Harvey of Oakdale, CT, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three of his brothers, James, Arthur and Donald Harvey.
