Thomas "Tom" F. Newton

Pawtucket – Thomas “Tom” F. Newton, 78, passed away on Monday, September 9, 2019 in Providence. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Walter and Ruth (Bolton). Mr. Newton worked as a marketing representative for The Times, Pawtucket, for many years prior to retirement.  An avid reader, Tom enjoyed BBC Radio and was a dog lover at heart.  He is survived by three nephews, Kevin Newton of Pawtucket, David Newton of Lincoln and Michael Newton of Marietta, PA; a niece, Karen Carfagna of Pawtucket and many great nieces and nephews.  He was the brother of the late Robert E., John A., Richard W. and Dorothy E Newton.  Burial in the family plot at Moshassuck Cemetery will be private.  Arrangements entrusted with Cheetham Funeral Home.  CheethamFuneralHome.com
