Therese R. Leblanc

Cumberland - Therese R. Leblanc, RSM, 94, formerly of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully at Mount Saint Rita Health Centre in Cumberland on Saturday, October 3, 2026. Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Gerard and Florence (Therrien) Leblanc.

Therese dedicated her life to the service of the Church as a member of the Religious Sisters of Mercy and her work at St. Patrick Parish on Smith Street in Providence. She had a passion for caring for people, and in her free time enjoyed reading and traveling. Her most memorable pilgrimage was to Rome and Vatican City.

Therese will be lovingly remembered by all whose lives she had touched over the past ninety-four years.

She is survived by her beloved sister, Constance "Connie" Boni of Cumberland and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Therese was the sister of the late Maurice Leblanc and Germaine Patchis.

Relatives and friends are welcome to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, October 8th at 9:45 a.m. at St. Teresa of the Child Jesus Church, 358 Newport Ave., Pawtucket followed by interment in the family lot at Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours and flowers are respectfully omitted.
