Therese A. Lamoureux

Pawtucket – Therese A. (Bouffard) Lamoureux, 92, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital Skilled Nursing Facility, Elmira, NY on Friday April 29, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late Normand A. Lamoureux. Born in Pawtucket, she was the youngest of ten children of Odias and Mariana Bouffard. Therese lived most of her life in her beloved hometown of Pawtucket and was a 1948 graduate of the former Pawtucket East High School. She worked as a bookkeeper for the Episcopal Diocese of Rhode Island for twenty-five years. Therese was a devout communicant of St. Cecilia’s Church, Pawtucket, for over sixty-five years. Her final seven years were spent in Elmira, New York, where she resided with her son and daughter-in-law. Therese enjoyed being surrounded by her large family of siblings, in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews.
