Therese Jackson

Pawtucket - Therese (Belgarde) Jackson passed away at home Thursday, January 27, 2011 on her 85th birthday. She was the beloved wife of Joseph C. Jackson for 64 years. Born in Central Falls, a daughter of the late Magloire and Eva (Plante) Belgarde, she resided in Pawtucket most of her life. Therese was employed by Red Farm Studio, Pawtucket for fifteen years before retiring in 1984. She was a longtime communicant of the Church of St. Leo the Great and a member of the Spirited Seniors. Besides her husband she leaves two sons, Richard J. Jackson and his wife Ann of Mauldin, SC and Joseph C. Jackson, Jr. and his wife Nancy of North Attleboro; three daughters, Janice P. Ferschke and her husband Richard of Port St. Lucie, FL, Maureen T. Stinchfield and her husband Brian of Manchester, NH and Sharon A. Bolton of Pawtucket; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Lorraine B. L'Heureux and Normand J. Belgarde. Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m....
