Therese Gravel

South Attleboro - Therese (Cote) Gravel, 98, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, January 7, 2026. She was the beloved wife of the late Wilbrod Gravel. Born in Central Falls, she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Blanche (Harbeck) Cote.

Therese worked for many years at Fram in East Providence until her retirement. She enjoyed singing and listening to music, dining out, completing word searches, reading, day trips, and traveling to Canada with family.

Above all, she was devoted to her family and enjoyed spending time with her beloved grandchildren. Therese will be lovingly remembered by all whose lives she has touched over the past ninety-eight years.

Therese leaves three daughters, Diane Coutu of Attleboro, Eileen Parisi and her husband, Anthony, of South Attleboro, and Denise Blanchette and her husband, Stephen, of Seekonk; a brother, Robert Cote and his wife, Jeanne, of Greenville, RI; two daughters-in-law, Jeanne Gravel of Rehoboth, and Belkis Gravel of South Attleboro; twelve grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Vincent, Robert and Wilbrod Gravel, and the sister of the late Roland Cote and wife Mary.

Relatives and friends are welcome to attend VISITATION beginning at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 17th, followed by SERVICES at 11 a.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. Interment at Notre Dame Cemetery will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to the Pawtucket Soup Kitchen, P.O.
