Therese M. Goyette

North Providence – Therese M. (Emery) Goyette, 78, passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2022. She was the life-partner of Joanne J. Celona with whom she made her home, with their fur baby, Arizona. Born in Central Falls, she was a daughter of the late William A. J. and Marie Jeanne (LeBlanc) Emery. Therese resided in Pawtucket before moving to North Providence twenty-one years ago. She was a member of Ocean State Baptist Church, Smithfield. Therese was a strong advocate for people with disabilities and an avid reader. Besides her life-partner, she leaves two daughters, Barbara A. Beckwith and her husband, Douglas, of Landaff, New Hampshire, their four children, Christopher Lori and his wife, Nora, Alexandra Fredericksen and her husband, Nicholas, Peter Beckwith and his wife, Alexandra, and Corrine Beckwith, Becky-Ann Sears of Schenevus, New York, and her two children, Cody Sears and Shannon Sears; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Jeannette Robitaille; a brother, Leo Emery and his wife, Connie, and several...
