Therese M. Goyette

North Providence – Therese M. (Emery) Goyette, 78, passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2022.

She was the life-partner of Joanne J.

Celona with whom she made her home, with their fur baby, Arizona.

Born in Central Falls, she was a daughter of the late William A.

J. and Marie Jeanne (LeBlanc) Emery.

Therese resided in Pawtucket before moving to North Providence twenty-one years ago.

She was a member of Ocean State Baptist Church, Smithfield.

Therese was a strong advocate for people with disabilities and an avid reader.

Besides her life-partner, she leaves two daughters, Barbara A.

Beckwith and her husband, Douglas, of Landaff, New Hampshire, their four children, Christopher Lori and his wife, Nora, Alexandra Fredericksen and her husband, Nicholas, Peter Beckwith and his wife, Alexandra, and Corrine Beckwith, Becky-Ann Sears of Schenevus, New York, and her two children, Cody Sears and Shannon Sears; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Jeannette Robitaille; a brother, Leo Emery and his wife, Connie, and several nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Richard Emery, Henri Emery and Helen Emery.

VISITATION will be held on Wednesday from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. at Ocean State Baptist Church, 600 Douglas Pike, Smithfield.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Interment at Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket will be private.
