Theresa A. Pacheco

Providence – Theresa A. (Jorge) Pacheco, 59, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 29, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Maximiliano Pacheco for forty years. Born in the Dominican Republic, she was the daughter of the late Zoilo and Mireya (Castillo) Jorge. Theresa immigrated the United States in 1987 and moved to New York where she attended Kingsborough Community College in Brooklyn. She relocated to Rhode Island in 1992 and settled in Providence with her family. Theresa continued her education at the University of Rhode Island where she studied Education and earned a bachelor's degree in 2000. She worked as an elementary school teacher for Providence Public Schools for over twenty years. Theresa loved shopping, music, dancing, being by the ocean and was a global traveler.
