Thelma F. Travis

East Providence – Thelma F. (Jack) Travis, 89, of Rumford, passed away on Monday, February 19, 2018. She was the wife of the late Frank H. Travis. Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Thomas and Florence (Wright) Jack, she resided in the Darlington section of Pawtucket before moving to Rumford five years ago. Thelma enjoyed spending many summers at her cottage at Roy Carpenters Beach, Matunuck. She leaves a daughter, Janet Lamarre and her husband, William, of Pawtucket; a son-in-law, Robert Baffaro; a daughter-in-law, Colleen Travis; six grandchildren, Eric Lamarre, Trevor Lamarre, Ashley Tillier, Lindsey Westgate, Gregg Travis and Christopher Travis and seven great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Joyce Baffaro and Kenneth Travis, and the sister of the late Gladys Cripe. Visitation will begin Saturday, February 24th at 10 a.m. followed by Services at 11 a.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.
