Pawtucket – Thaddeus “Ted” Surowiec, 66, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 16, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.
He was the beloved husband of Michelle (Tondreau) Surowiec for nearly forty years.
Born in Rzeszow, Poland, he was the son of the late Leon and Zofia (Jucha) Surowiec.
Ted immigrated to the United States in 1962 and settled in Pawtucket where he built his life with his family.
He graduated in 1978 from William M.
Career and Technical High School in Lincoln.
Ted worked as an electrician for several local businesses throughout the area.
He was an avid gardener and was infamous for tinkering around trying to fix things.
His helpful nature and love of life will be fondly remembered by those who loved him.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two beloved daughters, Danielle Henao and her husband, Brian, and Kathleen Cipriano and her husband, Jonathan, all of Pawtucket; his adored grandson, Matias Henao; a sister, Mary Capron of Coventry and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be hosted at a later date and time.
Visitation and floral tributes are respectfully omitted.
