Susan L. Moskowitz

Cumberland – Susan L. Moskowitz, 64, passed away on Tuesday, November 16, 2021. She was the beloved wife of Stephen A. Santos for forty loving years. Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of Louise M. (Palagi) Moskowitz of Pawtucket and the late Robert J. Moskowitz. Sue was a buyer for Ann & Hope Department Stores before leaving to open High Flyers Flight Company, a kite shop on Thames Street in Newport. Sue along with her husband, Steve, were avid sport kite flyers in the late 80’s and early 90’s. In 1993, Steve and Sue, along with their teammate, Dave Simpson, qualified for the World Cup Sport Kite Championships held in Berkeley, California. Sue was the only woman to compete in the championships that year. Besides her beloved husband and mom, Sue leaves her sister, Catherine A. Moskowitz, and her uncle, Joseph Palagi, both of Pawtucket.
