Susan E. Mccormick

Cumberland – Susan E. (Martin) McCormick, 65, passed away at home on Wednesday, November 11, 2015.

She was the beloved wife of Robert J.

Born and raised in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late John and Louise (Renshaw) Martin, she resided in North Attleboro before moving to Cumberland three years ago.

Susan was an elementary school teacher in the Pawtucket School Department for 26 years until retiring in 2011.

She enjoyed being a summer resident of Matunuck and spending the last three winters in Winter Haven, Florida.

Susan was a huge sports fan, she especially enjoyed the New England Patriots, Boston Red Sox and trips to Saratoga.

But most of all, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Besides her husband, she leaves 2 daughters, Maegan Schlitzer and her husband, Timothy and Courtney Cannata and her husband, Christopher; a son, Alexander McCormick and his wife, Jennifer; three granddaughters, Rhian, Rory and Eloise; and a sister, Maureen Rooney and her husband, Edward.

She was the sister of the late Timothy and John Martin.

VISITATION will begin Saturday at 3 p.m. followed by Services at 6 p.m. at WILLIAM W.
