Susan J. Lemay

Seekonk – Susan J. (Collins) Lemay, 73, passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side on Wednesday, April 29, 2026. She was the beloved wife of Richard J. Lemay, together they would have celebrated their fifty-first wedding anniversary this coming May 17th. Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Ervin and Irene (Cornett) Collins.

Besides her loving husband, Susan leaves two daughters, Meghan Lemay and her partner, Jesse Barrows of West Springfield, MA, and Colie Lemay and her husband, Fernando Rodrigues of Seekonk; four grandchildren, Magnolia and Calvin Barrows and Brewster and Raeya Lemay-Rodrigues; two siblings, Thomas Collins and his wife, Barbara, and Sally Collins all of Pawtucket; a sister-in-law, Dottie Collins and her partner, Norman Benoit. She was the mother of the late Kyle Lemay and sister of the late Kathleen (Collins) Malo and Robert Collins.

Susan worked for many years at Texas Instruments and subsequently as a receptionist in a local doctor’s office. She was an avid Hi-Lo Jack card player, known by her card playing partners as “Goldie”.

Above all, Susan was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was a proud mom and Nana and devoted her life to caring for her beloved children and grandchildren. She loved to close out a family party. She built memories with her grandchildren who brought her so much joy over the past five years. They will never forget the countless dance parties and pocket snacks. Susan will be lovingly remembered by all whose lives she has touched over the past seventy-three years.

Relatives and friends are welcome to attend SERVICES on Tuesday, May 5th at 10 a.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by interment at Notre Dame Cemetery.

VISITATION will be held on Monday, May 4th from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
