Susan L. Jencks

Cumberland – Susan L. (Vose) Jencks, 68, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 5, 2012.

She was the beloved wife of the late Herchal Jencks.

Born in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Fred I. and Marion S. (Spelman) Vose.

Susan was a waitress at the former Meadowcrest Restaurant on Mendon Rd., Cumberland for many years and also worked as a CNA at The Holiday, Manville.

During her free time she enjoyed playing bingo.

Susan leaves a son, Gary J.

Cartwright and his wife, Jane of Seekonk; four grandchildren, Hillary J., G.

Dillon, Jillian M. and Mallory N.

Cartwright all of Seekonk; a brother, Robert Vose of Cumberland and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was the sister of the late Irving and Donald Vose.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. from WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St.

Joseph Church, 1303 Mendon Rd.

Interment will follow at St.
