Susan Boghossian

March 23, 1937 — October 18, 2016

Pawtucket – Susan (Bozigian) Boghossian, 79, of Pawtucket, died Tuesday, October 18, 2016, at her home.

She was the beloved wife of the late Leon C.

Boghossian, Jr., who died on March 18, 2016.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Hachig and Haigouhi “Agnes” (Topalian) Bozigian.

Sue was a graduate of North Providence High School and was a secretary until she retired upon becoming a wife, mother and grandmother.

After raising her three children, she finally listened to her husband and took up the game of golf.

She instantly fell in love with the game along with the Pawtucket Country Club and its ladies division, where she won numerous first and second division club championships.

Sue would play a round of golf under any weather conditions with anyone who wished to join her, a trait she passed down to her daughter, Licia.

While Sue was a devoted and loving wife, she was an even better mother.

She cooked all the Armenian dishes and regularly proofread and typed her children’s papers.

She leaves her sons, Leon C.

Boghossian, III and his wife, Karen, and Dr.

Boghossian and his wife, Liana; her daughter, Licia Langford and her husband, Jamie; five grandchildren, Alex and Matthew Boghossian, Sosy and Ani Boghossian and Tara Dwyer; two sisters, Sherry Hanoian and Rose Hachigian and a brother, George Bozigian.

She was the loving sister of the late Lucy Goodman and June Matrumalo.

VISITATION will begin on Thursday at 8 a.m. at WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by Services at 11 a.m. in Sts.

Sahag & Mesrob Armenian Church, 70 Jefferson St., Providence, RI 02908.

Interment with her husband will follow at Swan Point Cemetery, Providence.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to either the Church or the Alzheimer’s Association, 245 Waterman St., Suite 306, Providence, RI 02906 will be appreciated.
