Steven E. Webb

Webb, 63, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 30, 2023.

He was the beloved husband of Angela (McLaughlin) Webb.

Born in Las Cruces, New Mexico, he was the son of the late Donald Robinson and Carol Jane (McFarland) Hawkins.

Besides his loving wife, he is survived by four children, Jessica Hunt and husband Everett, Lindsey Cunningham and husband Chris, both of Texas, Kasey Webb and partner Raymond Hathaway IV, and Amber Webb, both of Seekonk, MA; three grandchildren, Nathan Cunningham, Carter Thorpe and Mason Cunningham; two siblings, Jamie and Lenora Hawkins, both of New Mexico; two loving aunts and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late David Robinson.

Beating aggressive childhood cancer at three weeks old, he overcame the odds by living his life the best he could.

Steven cherished his childhood in Texas and New Mexico with his mom, siblings, cousins and aunts.

Growing up living with a prosthetic leg didn’t stop him from much.

He loved fixing everything, leading him to a career as a general contractor where he found himself moving to Massachusetts.

That choice guided him to his soulmate and a happy thirty-year marriage of shared “Can I do anything for you’s?”.

He enjoyed being involved in every aspect of the sports the girls played and was his daughters’  biggest fan.

He did anything for his girls whether it was a daily wake up call, driving to fish out the keys they locked in the car to the text check-ins when they needed it most.

He was a pillar of strength and stability to not only his girls but to his entire extended family and community - you could count on him being on the sidelines of every game, or on his porch making sure everyone was watched over.

Although he was quiet and liked to blend in (usually holding up the wall), he was our strength.

His funeral will be held on Saturday, beginning with visitation at 1:00 p.m. and concluding with Services at 3:00 p.m. in WILLIAM W.
