Phillips, 45, passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, February 21, 2012.

He was the beloved husband Elizabeth M. (Allan) Phillips for twenty-three years.

A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, he was a son of Joyce (Renell) Phillips of Pawtucket and the late Richard Phillips.

Steve had been employed by the Sun Chemical Company, Mansfield, for many years.

He was a handyman who enjoyed helping others, and was an avid sports fan, especially of the Patriots.

Besides his wife and mother, he leaves a daughter, Stephanie E.

Phillips; a son, Jon R.

Phillips both at home; his dog, Bear; three brothers, Richard and Michael Phillips both of Pawtucket and Kevin Phillips of South Carolina; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Phyllis Allan of Pawtucket; many nieces, nephews and his best friend, David Norberg of Rehoboth.

His funeral will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St.

Joseph Church, 195 Walcott St., Pawtucket.

VISITATION Friday 5 – 8 p.m.
