West Warwick – Steven T.
Lopes, 42, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 18, 2024.
Born in Pawtucket, he leaves his mother, Natalia (Tome) Ferreira and her husband, Leno Ferreira of Pawtucket and his father, Oldemiro Lopes and his partner, Linda Narciso of Burrillville.
Steve resided in Pawtucket before moving to West Warwick over two years ago.
He was a heavy equipment operator for AGI Construction, Smithfield, and a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 57.
Steve was a true family man, he loved spending time with his family and friends.
He always looked forward to his yearly fishing trips, celebrating the holidays and was an avid New York Giants fan.
Besides his parents, he leaves two children, Nathan S.
Lopes; a brother, Danny T.
Lopes and his wife, Melissa, of Pawtucket; a sister, Sandy T.
Lopes of Pawtucket; his fiancée, Kelly A.
Jackson of West Warwick; the mother of his children, Vanessa Pereira of East Providence; two nieces, Savannah Lopes and Kenzie Ferreira; a nephew, Casseus Negron; a stepsister, Elizabeth Ferreira of West Warwick; a stepbrother, Leno Ferreira of Pawtucket and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
His funeral will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at 8:45 a.m. from WILLIAM W.
TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Fatima Drive, Cumberland.
Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.
