Pawtucket – Steven F. Horan, 68, passed away peacefully with family by his side on Thursday, October 29, 2026. He was the beloved husband of Frances “Tish” E. (Shifflett) Horan for forty-nine loving years. A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Richard F. and Lucille (Hetu) Horan.

Above all, his favorite job was Beach Manager at Scarborough Beach in Narragansett where he spent many summer days in his childhood.
Steve enjoyed spending time with his friends, watching t.v. and playing the lottery. In his younger years, he enjoyed playing softball and bowling. But most of all, he cherished every moment he spent with his adored grandchildren. Steve also loved his Jack Russell Terrier, “Chase” that traveled everywhere with him.
Besides his loving wife, he leaves a daughter, Jennifer E. (Frank D. DiIorio) Fitton; a son, Steven F. (Cassandra) Horan, Jr.; three adored grandchildren, Julian, Makayla and Camden Horan; two siblings, Kathleen (Rick) Koperna and Timothy (Susan Amendola-Carr) Horan; two sisters-in-law, Darlene Horan and Nora Correira. He was the brother of the late Richard F. Horan, Jr., Linda (David) Hatter, and Joseph Correira. He leaves behind many nieces and nephews who shared their laughter and hearts with him.
