Steven D. Fortier

Attleboro – Steven D. Fortier, 28, passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2022, after a tragic snowmobiling accident in Maine.  Born in St. Petersburg, Florida, he was the beloved son of the late Doreen M. Fortier.  He leaves his grandparents, Gerald J. and Virginia A. Fortier with whom he made his home in Attleboro, Massachusetts; uncles and aunts, William J. Fortier and his wife, Carolyn, of Cumberland, Rhode Island, David M. Fortier and his wife, Kim, of Norton, Massachusetts and Gary S. Fortier and his wife, Sarah, of Marietta, Georgia; cousins, Gregory, Alison, Ashley, Joshua, Madeline and Abigail Fortier. Steven was a graduate of Foxborough Regional Charter School before receiving a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science in 2015 from Wentworth Institute of Technology, Boston, MA.  He was a software developer for MEDITECH for the past five and a half years, where his co-workers valued and respected him as a team player who was always willing to help in whatever way he could.   While to outsiders, Steven...
