Stephen W. West

Seekonk – Stephen W. West, 72, passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2021. He was the beloved husband of Deborah T. (Green) West for forty-five loving years. Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Earl E. and Florence (Whelan) West. Stephen was a United States Army veteran of the Vietnam Era and went on to a proud career as a police officer, having served on the Pawtucket Police Department until his retirement. He was an active member of the Fraternal Order of Police and enjoyed biking and gardening. Besides his loving wife, Stephen leaves a daughter, Kristin E. West of Seekonk; two siblings, Andrew E. West of Nova Scotia, Canada, and Nancy Egan and her husband, Tom, of North Providence. He also leaves his two devoted canine companions, Randall, and Vinnie. Per Mr. West’s own wishes, immediate services will be private, and a Celebration of Life will be held on a later date to be announced.
